ONEPLUS 5G LOGO
The launch of the OnePlus 7 series was particularly significant, as it was the first time the brand launched multiple devices at once.
I had the opportunity to create the ‘5G’ logo that appeared on the back of the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, one of the first widely available 5G smartphones in the US, UK, and Finland.
The brief from the marketing team was to convey forward thinking but retain the minimalism of the OnePlus visual identity. Starting with ‘Slate for OnePlus’ as a boilerplate, I condensed both glyphs, dropped the G’s beard, and matched their edge angles.
