DESIGNER IN SHANGHAI, CHINA

I’m Austin, a designer currently working at JWDK in Shanghai, China. I have spent the past 4+ years of my career bringing design and motion to forward thinking brands in China.
I had the privilege of beginning my career in New York City, working first on product and then brand design for IBM in their Astor Place design studio.
I then moved to China in 2017 to help evolve brand and marketing design at the smartphone company OnePlus in Shenzhen. Following that, I led motion design at Binance for two years before starting my current role.
Throughout my career, I have collaborated with companies like T-Mobile, McLaren, Disney, HTC and Google Zoo. My work is realized across a variety of mediums including video, social media, web graphics, print, soft goods, and even Times Square once.
When not in the office I spend my time exploring Asia or doing the occasional impersonation of Unbox Therapy.
